Tuff Paper Towels
When I use paper towel I am looking for something that doesn't fall apart the minute you get it wet or try to wipe something up. A few posts ago I metioned buying Tuff brand towels at Walgreens for .50 a roll. Here's my report back! Totally not worth it!!!
Was the price right? Totally! BUT the towel did not hold up at all. I wet the towel and then tried to use it. The piece fell apart almost immediately, I even had trouble ripping a dry piece off the roll.
In my opinion on a scale of 1-10 (one being the worst and 10 the best), Tuff paper towel is a one (really I think it's more like a negative!).
So...that's my take on these paper towels. Next time, I will just by pass this brand wait for a Brawny or Bounty sale and use a coupon. Hope this review helps you decide what to buy (or NOT) next time you go shopping.
Keep your eyes peeled for other product reviews in the future. Hopefully, these reviews will help you save money just as much as a sale or a coupon!

Store Savings 2/14/10 through 2-20/10
I haven't posted about Walgreens in a bit but for this week here's a few things to keep in mind for this week:
If you like Tuf paper towels they are .50/roll & that's a good price for papertowel. .70/roll is my buy price for name brand stuff like Bounty or Brawny.
Personally, I have never tried this brand so I am going to buy one to try! I'll report back later how it worked!
Skippy Peanut Butter (16.3 oz) is 2/$3 and in the 1/31/10 Red Plum insert there is a coupon for .40 off. This is a good deal for a full size jar of peanut butter.
15 oz of canned fruit (check your store for types offered) are .89 when you use the Walgreens insert coupon.
Walgreens Brand Bleach-96 oz for .99
These are just a few of the offers. Remember if you like to participate in Register Rewards the insert has several offers for you so check out the insert and then go shopping!
Aldi's in West Michigan has milk for 1.69 this week! Great Buy!!!
